Elon Musk Truck
The new Tesla “truck” is a design no one asked for but it’s the one everyone loves to hate.
Here’s him giving a demonstration of the “shatter proof” window. His first words “Oh my fucking god.”
A video was uploaded after which shows the same person throwing the same ball at the same window. Too bad they didn’t replace the window first.
It’s pretty easy to hate on this design. I try and try to like this thing but can’t. It’s like some bastard child of a Delorean and a Pontiac Aztek. If you really want an electric truck, just wait for the Rivian R1T. It has more horsepower and doesn’t make you look like such a massive dork.
I’m sure in 20 years people will be holding onto these things and people will marvel at it’s quirkiness. At least it is a new attempt at a truck, rather than us getting the same design over and over for years. Hey Ford, the Ranger from the 80’s still works, why would I need to buy anything else? But maybe there’s a reason why the desings are all similar. People don’t want to experiment with their vehicles like we do fashion. You can try on a sweater vest and scarf and if that doesn’t fit you, put it in the closet and never look at it again. Most people won’t be doing that for a new eccentric vehicle meant for time travelers.
